The Potting Shed at Mathern Palace

Lovely place to stay. No noise could be heard from the cottage next door. Church bells were lovely to hear. Well equipped and comfortable for 4 adults. Plenty of parking. Easy to find.

There wasn't anything we didn't like, just a few things to raise. Additional glasses were required as we only had 3 small glasses when there were 4 of us. The tv is very high on the wall, and with the sofa being low, it was uncomfortable to watch. The heating came on during our last evening, which needed adjusting. It hadn't come on all the time we were there.

Nothing not to like, sitting outside listening to the birdsong and watching the swifts and house martins in the mornings was so relaxing.

The missing welsh cakes that were in the welcome pack, had my lips ready.... by the way that is not a criticism its a flippant remark by me and my sense of humour ,it did not spoil our stay at all.

The location was very pleasant and bed was comfortable. Everything we needed for our stay was available. Hosts were very good.

We loved The Potting Shed. It's located in a beautiful rural area and is nice and quiet. Our host was available if we needed anything and we weren't far from the town.

There was nothing we didn't like. We had a wonderful stay.

Very lovely property, nice and clean. Charlotte communicated everything brilliantly. No issues with anything.

Setting is delightful. Really quiet. Such a lot of history surrounds this whole area. We stayed to surprise family who live in the village and hope to return on a regular basis throughout the year. The cottage has everything we needed as far as cooking goes, also plenty of plates and glasses. The bedrooms are really well appointed, comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels for use in the nice bathroom. Downstairs larger than we expected from the photos. Nice area to sit out at the front for a coffee or drinks in the evening. Fortunately it was lovely weather for May. There are some brilliant walks nearby as well as handy for the coast path.

Just the huge amount of air fresheners. I am allergic, they make me sneeze so had to put them all in a wardrobe while we were there. Only moan I have😁
