Équipement vraiment trop rudimentaire.. très poussiéreux et peu confortable. Et surtout très peu sécurisé !

It was quite spacious and the location was convenient. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious with very generous portions.

Great location with a view of the mountains near Isalo National Park, a spectacular sunset view, and a helpful manager. As the name of the lodge, basic facilities, no running water, no electric outlet.

Good breakfast, nice view from windows, nice staff, good location.

There was no running water from tap. Water was in a big bucket. Warm water was available in plastic bottles heated up by the sun, on a cloudy day the water was less warm, and I don't know if the number of bottles was sufficient for all of the people. WiFi was available for 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening. Windows didn't have glass, so when it was windy, it was cold in the bungalow. There was no electric sockets in bungalows, we had to charge our phones in their dining room.

Quiet place to stay, 10 minutes driving from the port. Spacious rooms with a lovely patio. Friendly staff. Highly recomended.

Great location with a great view. Huge food portions. Room is basic but good, bucket showers but with hot water.

Beautiful location, so quiet and peaceful with a lovely view of the mountains. Great big breakfast and nice coffee! The super cute friendly dogs - they were adorable. The Manager was very helpful.

Wifi only works for a couple of hours a day. -If you need to work, make sure you have a SIM if staying here.. It's a little bit away from the town which I loved, except I had to walk with my heavy bags to the bus the morning after a super long hike with aching legs, the manager was kind enough to help but it still wasn't so pleasant! Sugar on the lovely fruit salad!🤣

A 10 for the views, the simplicity of surrounding nature and the hospitality of the kind, honest and humble owner, who is very helpful. You won’t find running water, much electricity or wifi at the eco lodge, BUT the views and sunset are breathtaking with a vast expansive of open night sky overlooking D'Isalo NP. A generous breakfast is included, and lunch/dinner is on request – you will sleep well. Laundry, massage and a tour guide are available on request, as is a short 0.5m uphill walk into Ranohira. If you can unplug from civilisation, use cash (no ATM nearby), this is a little treasure of a place! Highly recommended.
