The small apartment was absolutely spotless with an amazing huge Korean bath.

This is a modern Hanok stay, top notch house! Very kind hosts and good breakfast.

The hosts are not on site, so ask your questions when you see them! The place is within extended strolling distance of the main sites.

Das Hanok ist wunderbar und wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. In 10 Minuten zu Fuss ist man beim Städtchen und dem Tumuli-Park oder bei der berühmten Brücke.

Amazing little Hanok-style gem in a near-perfect location for exploring the many attractions in Gyeongju. What truly stood out, though, were the owners. It’s clearly a place run with love and care, and they welcome you with warmth and the biggest smiles and couldn’t have been more helpful. A very charming and memorable experience - highly recommended.

Almost nothing to complain about, but the rooms have several small lights from air conditioning, coffee machines, etc., that stay on during the night, along with some consistent low noise. It did affect our sleep a bit, so bringing earplugs and a sleep mask might be a good idea.

The house was very beautiful and had the authentic experience vibe as a Hanok stay. The owners were also very good and helpful. They helped us with helping with directions and good places to try Korean style food. They even personally took us to the restaurant to give instructions in local language as one of us was a vegetarian . Overall we had a great experience staying there and enjoyed the stay in Gyeongju.Thanks for everything.

Only thing is the bathroom is a bit compact and did not have a screen or a door which made it a little messy maybe.

Beautiful hanok-style mini apartment just 10 minutes from the center of Gyeongju. It’s very comfortable. Extremely warm welcome.

Das Haus ist wunderschön, mit viel Natur-Holz auch im Innenraum. Wir hatten das Appartment im oberen Stockwerk, es war geräumig und gut eingerichtet. Es ist ein Familienbetrieb, die Inhaber haben uns persönlich empfangen und waren sehr nett und freundlich. Lustige Story: Wir sind bereits am Vormittag in der Stadt angereist, und haben unsere Koffer bei der Unterkunft abgeben wollen. Der Taxifahrer hat uns aus Versehen zu einem anderem Hanok namens "Sowa" etwa 3 Strassen weiter weg gebracht, und wir haben dort unsere Koffer reingestellt (das Personal dort hat uns dabei unterstützt, die dachte wir wären ihre Gäste). Am Nachmittag dann die Überraschung: unser Haus ist Seowa (mit E) - und unsere Koffer natürlich nicht dort. Der Inhaber hat zum Glück das andere Haus gekannt und ist mit uns mit seinem Auto rübergefahren um die Koffer abzuholen, und hat mit dem Inhaber von Sowa alles geklärt. Als Frühstück wird (im Apartment) Brot, Marmelade, Joghurt, Früchte, Säfte, Kafee(kapsel) bereitegstellt, und wir haben auch ein kleines Abschiedsgeschenk erhalten. Lage: etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß von den Sehenswürdigkeiten (Brücke).

This Hanok is the perfect stay in Gyeongju. The location is great and right closed by the new Terarosa café which is one of the most peaceful places in Gyeongju. The house has the perfect balance between the traditional design and the modern comfort. The host is lovely and welcoming. We had an authentic and tasty breakfast. I highly recommend Hanok Stay Seowa.
