The Forest House

Excellent property, great facilities, very clean with great communication with the owner.

Nothing it was all excellent

The Forest House is stunning, in a beautiful setting and quiet road. Chelsi our host had thought of every detail needed to make our stay perfect. The house was clean and well presented. We took 2 80 year olds with us who enjoyed the stay. Great communication before and during our stay. Would highly recommend booking The Forest House. Will be booking again. Chelsi thank you for making our family holiday so enjoyable

The forest house is in a great location peaceful and quiet but a short drive to amenities . The house was perfect for our family weekend. The hot tub was amazing and the gym a real bonus. Everything has been well thought out to make your stay exceptional. We didn’t want to leave and we would definitely return.

The house was light, airy, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We enjoyed siting in the beautiful garden for breakfast and other meals. We enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable sofa and arm chairs in front of the 'cinema screen'! We loved how clean everything was. We enjoyed how peaceful it was and the beautiful trees in the garden. The house was very well equipped, with various drinks and cleaning items. It would have been nice to have some milk and biscuits in the fridge for that drink on arrival, but we appreciated the toilet rolls. We enjoyed being able to use 2 of the 4 bedrooms and having ample bedding and towels. We enjoyed the use of 3 bathrooms.

I didn't like all the scents, the air freshener type things all around the house esp in the conservatory, but kept opening the outside door, which helped! But we could still smell it a bit in the garden. However, it was a small thing and can easily be sorted. The smell of rubber was quite strong too from the gym area, but again, minor and keeping the door shut helped. This didn't spoil our holiday. The rooms upstairs were so hot and we were so glad there were ceiling fans installed! We felt the price was expensive for us, being just the two of us and felt that maybe the cost reflected the use of the hot tub and gym and bbq facilities and because we didn't need to use any of these or wish to use them, maybe this could be reflected in the price if we book again in the future?

No stair gate for young children

Fantastic property that can accommodate a large family. Everything worked as it should and the hot tub was a hit with the family.

£500 pet deposit was a bit excessive.

Location was good nice and quiet. Facilities were excellent and hot tub an added bonus. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.Home from home

If I was being picky a lock on the downstairs cloakroom for a bit of privacy

Large house with plenty of space,amenities and utilities. Heating worked well and easily turned off and on. Ability to lock all bedroom doors, not something we need but allows for more than one family to use the house together.

Could do with some draft excluders for the front and back door but the heating worked well so not a big issue if you are staying in the colder months.
