JP- Lovely view of the plum tree outside my room - Convenient public area - Good location - close to Sakaimachi and good+cheap sushi restaurants - Spacious room with well-maintained tatami and comfy beds - Quiet at night - Glad to have access to a big bathtub - Staff were warm and friendly - Multiple cats playing outside which were fun to watch
- Hair-dryer in my room was visibly dusty inside and left a smell lingering after I used it - Public bath didn't have any circulating water, which concerned me because I saw multiple people shower after their bath rather than before while I was in there - Would appreciate if the common area wasn't closed overnight so I could access the fridge late at night - There was a sliding door between the tatami and floor sections of my room, but it was bolted open - would have appreciated being able to close it
THJPTHOur room was very spacious so it was worth the cost of the stay, especially for a hotel in Japan. The staff were very nice and friendly. The breakfast was nice, but the choice might be a little limited, but understandable for very cheap price for staying. The location of the hotel is within the waking range to important landmarks in Otaru (e.g. the canal and the music box museum).
The hotel is close to the elevated railroad so the sound of the train could be heard in the background. We did not find it troubling, but people who sleep early and need really quiet sleeping environments might not like it. The hotel did provide earplugs which should help with the train noise.
GBThe hotel was spotless and very well laid out rooms. Though they were small we didn’t feel cramped at all and we really liked the free parking and the breakfast and the lovely garden view we got with breakfast. Close to the canal and man attractions as well this is truly an unassuming hidden gem

TW非常喜歡這個住宿的環境，房間雖然有點小，但是很溫馨！小小的泡湯的浴室，也很可愛
可惜泡湯的時間，很不自由，早上希望能開放一個時段！
TW已經來過第二次住宿，距離車站，行李大約12分鐘，但是要去音樂館、運河，都剛好在中間，走路12分鐘…剛剛好！
