GBThe Loft is in a perfect location for exploring Southampton, its beautiful scenery, quiet with amazing facilities. Its own private park and sand pit for the kids and everything you need for cooking!! Super comfy! Perfect find!!!
GBGBLoft spacious with everything you need for a great stay. No need to take any kitchen self catering items they have provided all you need. Spacious shower room with plenty of towels and toiletries. Milk was a welcome surprise along with tea and coffee etc. useful storage cupboard with boiler that allowed wet clothes to dry quickly. No noise at all as you are well off the beaten track. Suggest you check google earth to identify exactly where the property is, it’s well worth the effort to stay in such an excellent place.

The wooden steps up to the apartment had narrow treads and were not easy to climb holding luggage. Perhaps more suitable for a younger clientele. The bed squeaked at the slightest movement and caused some hilarity. We found it tricky to find the apartment as the post code takes you to the bottom of Awbridge Hill, not the top. It is down a track to the left on a sharp bend to the right when driving West. Look for sign saying Hay for sale.
GBThe Booking dot com app messaging function isn't working properly. Finding the property was tricky but the host was welcoming and made efforts to find and direct us which was really lovely.
The smoke alarm went off 5 times between midnight and 2am. We were responded to by the host just after 2am, but by then, we'd had 2 hours' lost sleep, when we were already extremely tired. We appreciate it's a busy time of year for all, but we were disappointed the host didn't contact us the following day to acknowledge our severely disrupted sleep and offer some kind of reimbursement by means of an apology. We know the smoke alarm issue wasn't their fault, but given it was hard-wired rather than battery-operated, we didn't think ripping it out and footing the bill for repair was a solution, just to get a restful night's sleep. In all other respects, the hosts and the property were absolutely perfect.
GBWe stayed here after our visit to peppa pig world which is just a 15 minute drive. Location is great and so peaceful. Accommodation so clean and beautifully decorated. Excellent value for money. Would highly recommend and will be recommending this place to our family and friends. Can’t wait to come back in the future!
