Arianna and her father were very good in helping us fiding the location of the house. The parking for 2 cars was perfect. Arianna told us everything we had to know and gladely answered all the questions we had giving us several adresses. The location is peacefull and the view on the sea is spectacular to watch the sunset at 6am.

Ground floor 5 persons : lockers (gate to the property, inside iron door to the house and the 2 bathrooms) didn't work. 1st floor : 4 persons : cooking for 4 persons was a pain as only 1 cooking stove, 2 would have been ok. The location is pecefull, but we need the car to go to interesting places down the the small cities along the sea. In Booking.com, the name of the city mentions "Acitrezza", while it should mention "Aci Catena", so my GPS would have found it easierly.

You need to understand that this is a nice but old house, so some facilities might be outdated. But we didn’t have a lot of inconveniences because of that

Good location with a stunning view from the house. Warm and welcoming hosts. The house in an impressive, Sicilian style, I especially loved the kitchen and the terrace. The size of the house was really big, very comfortable for the entire group. We only stayed 4 nights, but I recommend for longer stays. It is a very good base for sightseeing in east Sicily.

Needs to be updated and maintained. Main bathroom has no soap shelf, they told me it was broken but why didn’t they fix it before? Kitchen fridge cabinet was awful inside at the bottom. The stove top smelled like gas and it was a problem. Under sink it smelled like mildew and the dish sponge was very old and stinky. outside yard needs work. It’s a shame that the place hasn’t been taken care of.

The host was very kind, welcoming and always helpful. The apartment had a vibe of a traditional Sicilian house with a nice garden and a tarrace with a view of the sea. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the apartment to a supermarket, pharmacy and a local pizzeria. If you plan to visit Sicily than you should defenetly consider choosing this apartment for your accommodation.
