Merate Tre Spade

- Appartement spacieux et bien rénové, avec beaucoup de rangements. Il est bien placé, au coeur de la petite ville de Merate, à proximité des commerces (boulangerie, superette), facilement accessibles à pied. - Places de parking gratuites dans la rue, à 100 m de l'appartement. - Arrivée autonome appréciable - Merate est situé à équidistance de Milan et du lac de Côme, ce qui permet de graviter dans la région.

- Le canapé convertible du salon n'est pas très confortable. Pas de rideau occultant ni stores aux fenêtres du salon, ce qui a réveillé tôt les personnes qui dormaient sur le convertible et favorisé la chaleur dans l'appartement (et il n'y avait pas besoin de ça en ce mois d'août caniculaire !). - Il faut traverser la chambre parentale pour accéder à l'unique salle de bain, ce qui est contraignant. - Il manque dans le logement quelques équipements : un four pour cuisiner (il n'y a qu'un micro-ondes), les assiettes et couverts sont en nombre insuffisant pour 5, il n'y a pas de couvercles pour les poêles et casseroles, un grille-pain serait bienvenu (même si c'est vrai que ce n'est pas indispensable !) - Il n'y avait pas suffisamment de papier toilette (3 rouleaux pour 5 pendant 4 jours)

The flat was clean and well equipped with kitchen utensils and sanitary products.

Unfortunately having left the property, we were accused of having broken a shower door (which never actually existed in the first place). It took some back and fourth between the agent and myself over WhatsApp where I requested photo evidence of the “smashed glass” that the cleaners had apparently found. I asserted that it was ridiculous to accuse 3 tourists of smashing a shower door and disposing of it on holiday. For starters, we had politely asked where we could take out the recycling as we knew about Merate’s strict waste guidelines and were keen to comply so the whole thing was just ridiculous and disappointing. It is a shame as the communication was initially good with the agent that I’d been in contact with over WhatsApp, I had even left a bottle of red wine as an apology/thank you after I accidentally knocked over a little ornament from the kitchen table. This was over 2 weeks ago and we’re assuming that the issue has been identified/rectified and of course was nothing to do with us. It’s unfortunate that we haven’t received an update as to who was to blame…or an apology!

If there was a air conditioner, they there some kind of coolers but would be nice to have a air conditioner
