we did not stay at the pictured accommodation, we received a message the morning of our reservation letting us know the place was no longer available and they could try to accommodate us elsewhere. we then had no response for several hours, prompting us to call booking.com and have a wonderful customer service agent reach out to the hosts on our behalf to get a response. in the end we were given information for a different residence in the old town, the place was very nice - arguably an upgrade, but the whole situation gave us a lot of unnecessary stress on what should have been a relaxing day

Location

After we informed the management right after check-in that there was no gas supply to kitchen and no hot water, clogged kitchen sink, broken electrical outlets and no light in the bathroom, next day they ask us to vacate the property immediately. The reason they found was a conflict between management members. We asked to provide a different property and they offered us a condo. We moved there. It was totally downgraded from what we ordered: no A/C, no washer, no balcony, no TV, only one bed, located on busy street just next to a tram line. But it was very clean. The property manager was a nice man, who gave us so-called portable A/C which did not really help. We requested a full refund for the first night and some refund for downgraded studio and inconvenience of moving to a new location. We got only $25.

★☆☆☆☆ Absolutely unacceptable – I had one of the worst experiences with this accommodation. I was supposed to check in at 12:00, as agreed with the host, but I arrived at 14:31 just to drop off my luggage and take a quick shower before a meeting. What I found was shocking: The sink was clogged, there were bloody tissues, and sockets were ripped out of the walls, posing serious safety hazards. After the cleaning almost nothing was changed. The bathroom light was hanging from the ceiling, ready to fall — completely nonfunctional. A makeshift lamp had been rigged, with a floor switch that made me fear I’d get electrocuted. The sink was clogged. The sofa was stained with whitish secretions, and the walls, shower, table, and bathroom tiles were visibly dirty and sticky. The whole apartment had a damp, unhygienic feel, with lighting so dim it seemed intended to hide the dirt. Even the furniture and cutlery were sticky. The shower was broken, and the general smell and state of the apartment were deeply disturbing. To make matters worse, I was watched by the cleaning lady when I arrived, who said nothing even though she saw me take the key — she apparently was just arriving to clean. I later found out check-out was actually at 10:00, not 12:00, so the place should have been ready well before I arrived at almost 15:00 (checkin hour) The only thing that seemed clean was the bed linen, but even that didn’t feel safe given the rest of the conditions. It was very cold and the owner told me to use the air conditioner (except the dust, did nothing). Despite the host claiming they would fix things, nothing had improved when I returned that night after a long day. I was so disgusted and concerned for my health — particularly with risks like hepatitis — that I packed up and left the property asap I arrived. I simply could not stay. This experience was unacceptable. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

No kettle. Very small kitchen . No real light in the bathroom. No clothes rack to dry clothes

The bed is not enough for two adults.

The only thing we liked was the location.

Nowhere to park, the building smells bad and is not maintained, the light in the bathroom didn't work, you can't sleep because of the noise from the gas heating.
