A Hidden Gem by the Alaknanda River I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay along the banks of the Alaknanda River with my family while Badrinath trip, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. Though the front view may not immediately impress, once you step inside, you're greeted with a serene, cozy atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The interiors are thoughtfully designed, clean, and radiate a homely vibe, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The homestay is run by an Ex-Defense personnel, whose cooperative and warm nature adds to the overall experience. The location by the river adds a peaceful, natural beauty that truly enhances the stay, with the gentle sound of the flowing Alaknanda always in the background. If you're looking for a perfect place to stay with family after or before your visit to Badrinath then you should consider this place. P. S - For the dog lovers, they also have 2 German Shepherd named Romeo and Juliet.

They have family rooms with 2 double beds and kitchen but only one washroom so at times it becomes a problem when you stay with a large group. Although the view and hospitality compensate for this.
