"Best place we stayed"

One of the best places we stayed at during our road trip. The oasis was great to walk through, The pool area was amazing. The food was perfect. The team even went beyond so we could invite our friends over to have dinner at our riad. Thank you for your hospitality

Petit havre de paix, superbe piscine, chambres propres et spacieuses. Catherine et son équipe sont aux petits soins et s'adaptent à nos besoins du moments, question cuisine il y en a pour tout les gouts. Petit déj délicieux et copieux ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir merci!

"Excellent - Un havre de paix accueillant et reposant"

L'accueil de la propriétaire Catherine et de son personnel. Le charme de Riad et son calme. Les grandes chambres très confortables. Le jardin agréable et la piscine à débordement. Le dîner excellent. Je recommande de faire une étape dans ce lieu reposant et éloigné des nombreux touristes entre Ourzazate et Tinghir

"Vegetarians stay away!"

The view of the Palmeraie with the mountains in the background was beautiful.

We had ordered dinner in advance - one "normal", one vegetarian. My husband was ill in the evening so we asked if he could eat in the room - we took the food to our room. I preferred to take dinner in the dining room. The staff member asked if I wanted the vegetatian option and proceeded to bring me a soup and a pastilla. Taking the first bites of the pastilla it did seem a bit unusual to me but hey what do I know, I haven't eaten any meat/fish in almost 4 deacades, and I don't know which spices and textures Moroccan food has to have. However, after a few more bites I asked the staff if it was vegetarian. Well no, it was chicken! Turns out my husband had been given the veggie option. A simple error, but for me it is completely unacceptable/unforgiveable to offer a non-vegetarian dish to a vegetarian after re-confirming the person wants the veggie option, brush it off with a meek "sorry" AND charge full price! The room was very large and therefore impossible to heat properly in the winter temperatures.
