"Exceeded expectations."

Staff were very welcoming. Room was large and very comfortable. The onsens were excellent and not crowded. The dinner and breakfast that were included were supreme. Some of the best Japanese food we’ve tasted.

We would have liked another night staying here. Not sure we needed the private bath in the room given how good the onsens were.

"Great location but you don't get the room you pay for!"

The Onsen was vacant when we went. The location is close to a charming town and small bamboo forest.

BEWARE: were not given the room we paid for! We specifically searched out rooms with 2 bedroom areas and paid for a room with 2 twin beds and 2 futons in 2 different areas. But on arrival we were told because we were only 2 people we had to sleep on the same platform bed!!! My friend snored and I couldn't sleep and it ruined my next day being tired. They had the Superior room we paid for but refused to give it to us saying it was Booking.com's fault

Super friendly staff and the food was exceptional!

The open air bath in our room was too small for either of us to fit in it. We ended up not using it at all, and just went to the public bath onsen.
