Excellent location very close to main Old Town and easy walk to Nea Chora and other adjacent beaches. Supermarket opposite and the apartment is just round the corner from the bus station. Apartment was bright and airy. Was straightforward to locate and access the apartment as Frank had sent clear instructions and photos. This apartment is not part of a holiday complex but is in a block of apartments mainly inhabited by locals - everyone we met as we went around the building was friendly and always said kalimera/hello. WIFI and AC both excellent. Bed very comfortable and we didn't hear much outside noise at night. Nice balcony. Kitchen had all the essentials. Good new-looking hot plates and oven. We would definitely stay here again if available on a future trip to Chania.

Hard to think of any negatives. Maybe the availability of some English language channels on the TV would have been useful but perhaps that is less important these days with most people bringing tablets or laptops with them

Two bottles of very welcome chilled water waiting for us. Very comfortable bed with clean white sheets. Speedy and courteous response from the owner with instructions on how to get hot water on a cool rainy day. Somethings are out of the control of the owner so can’t complain about city traffic noise, neighbours loud television, motors running in the neighbours rooms.

The ‘apartment’ is in fact a studio studio. If you are sleeping in the same room as the cooker and kitchen sink you are not in a ‘separate bedroom’ as described (and booked). The sofa bed was not in the sitting room, it is next to the bed. Improvements which would have made our stay better are: a kettle, a corkscrew, egg cups, salt pepper and olive oil as are usually provided rather than sugar cubes and plastic straws. Fastening the towel hooks to the bathroom wall so they do not lift off every time the towel is used. Providing hanging space with enough height to hang a dress, even shirts were too long to hang straight. With only one pan and no kettle even boiled eggs and a cup of tea took forever.

We rented the appartment for 5 days. It was really clean and ready for us. The location is perfect as well - close to the main street and the Old Harbor of Chania. There are plenty of private parking's nearby that we used because we were travelling around by car. We recommend it and will come back for sure! 5**

We definitely had good luck to stumble upon Frank’s apartment! He thought of every detail to make his guests feel comfortable during their stay. The apartment is more than enough for a couple, has a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea, and is located right in the center of Chania. The host has welcomed us with cold water in the fridge, ice and coffee, which is very sweet! :) Frank is always online to help you with your queries, so do not hesitate and book the apartment!
