Villa Khadine Grand Vista Resort

Great quite location with garden setting - the grounds were lovely and had a very nice chill night time vibe.

Obviously covid downturn has meant not as well maintained and pool was not useable, bar was closed, dinner kitchen closed (but great order-in service for dinner). Not a "destination" due to low maintenance / not operating facilities, but a great place to stay after a day of island hopping adventures! Standard room advertised as 1 bedroom 1 bathroom 1 living room (but actually no living room).

Beautiful natural surrounding. We were waken up every morning with geckos, birds and roosters. Staff was very nice and accomodating. Massage was great and very relaxing.

We were working remotely during our stay which was a bit of struggle. No wi-fi in the room or nearby. The only place which had wi-fi was restaurant. We raised this to staff but they didn't resolve router problem. Swimming pool was dirty (green) without fresh water circulation. Room was smaller then expected.

Rooms were smaller than I expected but the villa fit 5 of us, meant for up ro 10 people, that would have been a squeeze. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was about 10 mins tricycle ride from town, so not too far.

Was expecting a nice pool since the hotel was away from a beach but I'm assuming that due to the pandemic had not been maintained, and some facilities like the kayaking were also not available. While the place had great potential and I'm sure was lovely pre-pandemic, just needed a bit more TLC.
