The location of the property is fantastic for going around and heaps of local eateries nearby

They only provided toothbrush and toothpaste and we found someone else’s hair in the bed. The temperature on the aircon and the water aren’t correct.

The self check-in process was quite frustrating as the iPad didn’t work correctly at the time and we had to call and speak to the staff who were pleasant and helped us with the process. This took some time and the other guests who’d arrived soon after us started complaining loudly about how slow we were - but I think they also had similar issues because they entered the hotel quite a while after we did. The experience was unpleasant as a result, mostly because of unsavory characters.

A small cozy apartment to have all necessities needed. Tucked in a quiet neighborhood. Coin parking on Sunday overnight came with surprisingly affordable price. Accessible to places to visit within walking distance.

Name of accommodation is deceptive. This is not a grand hotel- it is a residential apartment block used by regular tenants who live there. We were on the second floor- needed help from others to carry our luggage up- no lift. Check in was difficult and stressful - needed help from a local hairdresser to get the I-pad into English and to telephone the manager from that i-pad - the manager was very keen that we paid the tourist tax by putting money into a box. When I asked him about about ordering a taxi for us at 10.00 two days later on the Sunday morning he said phone at 9.30 a.m the same day. We nonetheless sent an email about this the Saturday evening before and received no reply, so we did phone at 9.30 a.m the Sunday morning and were told that if we did not get through we needed to send an email- we did not get through! We ended up ,after we checked out at ten, walking to the nearest main road and flagging down a taxi. In the apartment block there is a second I pad which contains lots of English describing the rules and regulations and things you should do or not do, including the rule that you should not engage with the cleaners by way of asking them questions. Nothing in English about how anything works- we had trouble getting the washing machine to work but managed in the end by using the google translate photo facility. Similarly with the air conditioning/heating although this took us a day to work out. We do not think the smart tv was working on a smart tv functionality and we think that the ignition was not functioning on the gas cooker- we did not want to contact the manager about this because our stay was relatively short and we wanted to use our free time to work out where to go and what to do- so we managed without them. We paid more for this apartment at the end of our Japanese trip than any of the other places we stayed at in Japan, and it turned out to be the only example of an accommodation where we did not feel welcomed or helped.

Great location, excellent facilities (bathtub, washing machine, stove, fridge). Spacious room.

Excellent location. Property itself was decent and spacious enough.

From check in, to contacting host, to sleeping comfort, to amenities for a 4 night stay were insufficient for the rate we paid compared to our other stays all month long. Check in: we’ve had no issues with other self check ins. We arrived at 6:30pm with our sick daughter and in a hurry to check in so we can drop off our car rental. The check in iPad was set to the wrong time and wouldn’t allow to check in as it thought it was before check in time. Everything was in Japanese so we had a hard time figuring it out, lucky we are apple users and were able to eventually figure it out and change the settings ourselves. But it took a long time and we were late for our rental drop off with our child passing out at the door. Our child was sick and threw up in bed around 8pm. There were rules stating we have to do our own laundry should we want clean towels or sheets, but no dryer so we wouldn’t have sheets for the night. For a 4 night stay, they could’ve afforded to give us 2 sets or at least be easy to contact. The iPad in the room had a button to contact the host but it wouldn’t go through. The ipad also was constantly lighting up a LOT and would light up the whole room at night. And the window in the kitchen was SO bright and directly in your eyes in bed given where the pillow placement is. There’s absolutely no sleeping in. The vent in the room was open, so the construction in the parking lot was insanely loud as of 7:30am. Once we figured out to close the vent, it became easier to handle. Also the tap for the washing machine was turned off so running the first load ran and resulted in an error and wasted time given we were in a rush and took us a while to figure out how to use. No drying rack to put wet dishes. Please include information on how to use amenities at the very least if you’re not going to be reachable during the stay.

Perfect room for a family. It had everything we needed.
