We arrived late, hence Dario, the host came to the airport to pick up us. We were really happy with his warm welcoming and friendly attitude. In addition he also brought us to a local street food place and welcomed us. He also showed us a couple of attractions around the apartman and he was also constantly online through whatsup and recommended us some further top sights and restaurants. I recommend to take his suggestions as he is a true local and know where you should go to have a good Palermo experience. Furthermore, de apartman was really clean, well set up, with a good location, near to the historic city center but not in the noisy middle. If we came back we would stay at Dario again.

Our host was the friendliest, most knowledgeable person we have encountered in all of Sicily. We love him! The location was in a neighborhood within walking distance to the major tourist attractions - very central. The apartment was super clean and comfortable.

The apartment was rather dark, but we are used to lots of light.

ZA HOUSE was a perfect place to stay in Palermo! Clean, cosy, very comfortable apartment 5 minutes away from the Palazzo Reale. There are all those little things that make so much difference between a good stay and a perfect stay: extremely comfortable bed with several pillows to relax both during the day and the night, night stands with bedside lights, big shower, really hot water (there's a boiler as almost everywhere in Sicily - remember to leave some for the other person :) and good water pressure, bath cosmetics, a large set of soft towels... There's even a coffee machine (including coffee!) in the apartment. Dario is an amazing host, making sure we had everything we needed and that we knew where to eat and where to go. We had the kindest welcome. We'll be back for sure!! P.S. Make sure to buy a 7-layer cake from the world famous pasticceria Cappello just round the corner!

ZA HOUSE was our best choice! The apartment is well equipped. You can easily prepare dinner there :) The owner, Dario, was very helpful. He gave us a lot of tips, where to go, eat, drink; booked a parking (very close to apartment). We highly recommend!

The house was well kept, clean. It had all the essential items that might be needed. Dario, our host was super friendly, he also got us some typical Sicilian snacks on our arrival. He explained all the places we can visit around. It honestly felt like home, I was there with my Dad, and we do plan to book this place again if we ever decide to return :) Dario also checked up on us, to ensure we are doing fine, which I genuinely appreciated. The house was cosy and very accessible to the city centre.

We had a great stay in Palermo! Dario was a very welcoming and accommodating host. He gave us a ride to the apartment from the subway station and brought us there on our last day. He also brought us cannoli our first morning there! The apartment is spacious and clean and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and we used it to cook occasionally. I would recommend this apartment for anyone who wants to stay in Palermo but to also feel at home!

Dario is an amazing host, very friendly and always happy to help. When we arrived he showed us around the neighbourhood to help us getting to know the place. He even brought us some typical street food and drinks to refresh ourselves after the car ride. He was always available and ready to answer any questions we had. The apartment was big and nicely done, very cozy. The entrance to the city centre is a 5 min walk. Also nearby is a very good pastery shop - Pasticceria Cappello.

The street was quite loud and it can be distracting if you're a light sleeper. We had some issues with smells from the shower drain, but I am certain Dario fixed that before the next guests arrived (he really cares about the well-being and comfort of his guests).

Dario is very friendly and communicated well and was waiting for us. Even jumped in the car and helped us find parking. Had fresh fruit waiting as a snack as he knew we were driving from out of town. Walked us around the neighborhood quickly to show us where to go. Best bakery in the city around the corner as well. :) Considering how hectic Palermo is to drive in, getting in and out of the city is simple if coming from celafu. Walking into old town takes less than 5 minutes and late night deserts and snacks are on your way home. Quiet neighborhood.
