VENI Olive House

A quirky but fun venue. It’s hard to rate with numbers as it is so different to other places. Veni the owner was delightful, the property is a simple village house in olive groves on the edge of town, and Veni has developed the garden area with love. It is a very beautiful outdoor space with a lot of outside facilities if you want them. We had just the one night. We drove into Kalamata old town for dinner. The GPS coordinates on Google maps were essential in finding the place. It is down a narrow lane. Veni provided many useful things such as lots of items for breakfast if needed. Sadly we had no time to cook the eggs she gave us from her chickens who live in a garden attached. Veni has made a platform over the garden which you climb stairs up to to look at some views or grab a stool and sit there. Lots of spaces to sit under the plants growing across the metal canopy. To sum up, it is a simple place to stay that has been created with love

The shower curtain is not good. Easy to flood the bathroom. We were woken very early by birds/animals on the roof.

This is a modest little apartment,, old-fashioned but super clean, with good facilities and excellently situated. A bedside table and lamp in the second bedroom would be a welcome addition, though a bit tricky to organise. The terrace is a lovely place to eat, and the front balcony a good spot to people-watch. It's not glamorous, but it's comfortable and excellent value for money. In a town where many places are up tricky, steep hills, it's easy to park on the harbour and walk to, being just off the main square.

We absolutely Love the place! Love the animals, olive trees, oranges and the beautiful garden! Paradise for me! Thanks Veni for your delicious traditional Greek dessert! Very warm hospitality! We feel like home! Thank you so much, hope can come and stay again!

Absolutely beautiful property with lots of lovely homemade details. In summer it's surely even more stunning. Plenty of places to store our bicycles. We were invited to pick oranges from the trees and given homemade Christmas cookies 😊

Amazing!! Every backpackers dream , all u could need and more - fully stocked bathroom great kitchen,, loads of added treats and fresh eggs! Son loved the garden and the donut dropped off this morning So peaceful super comfy beds Wonderful host and even a lift to our onward travel Only wished we could have stayed longer thank you

Excellent location! Beautiful scenery with olive tree garden and view of the mountain! Very polite and pet friendly owner! Traditionally greek furnished house. Ideal for families with children and pets! Wonderful experience, thank to the hostess!
