Lovely welcome . Great location, friendly owners , nice and quiet for a busy place .had a lovely homely feeling . Great value for money . Bed was comfy. Tea and coffee making , was a bar if you wanted it and if was closed you just had to call and they would come and open thought this was nice . It was spotless , wee arrived early to ask if we could leave our bags and go back out and come check in later , but to a lovely surprise, the owner said you can have your room now , leaving us the rest of the day to enjoy.clean . Comfortable , fresh clean bedding , great location I couldn't ask for anything else , especially for the great price and location .Would definitely stay here again .

The location was near everything we needed. The bathroom was clean and the bedding was fresh. The price was very cheap.

The mattress was appalling I've slept on comfier floors could feel every spring we aren't the smallest of people but I reakon even a child would feel them. The bathroom was tiny you couldn't turn the shower on or off inside the cubicle it was operated by a switch in the room. The TV would not switch off with the batteries held in the remote with tape. As you walked in you were met with the smell of weed smoke and it would draft into the room every so often and it was equipt to be a family room. To the owners a new mattress on the double bed would have made a massive difference. My partner has hurt is back from sleeping on it. Good job the bunk beds had quilts as we slept on top of the quilt and used the single ones to sleep with and could still feel the springs. Carpet was dirty and the wallpaper was patchy and hanging off in places. Towels supplied were large hand towels cheapest toilet roll you could think of. Requested clean towels for the 2nd day they never arrived even on the 4th morning when we were leaving. If the bed would have been decent we would have stayed for the weekend as the other bits were expected at such a cheap price. But a decent mattress costs nothing these days as they were good on the bunk beds.

The hotel is close to all the attractions in the town centre, easy walking distance. Everywhere was very clean. Very good value for the cost

The mattress, pillows, quilt and bedding seemed very well used. The pillows especially weren't very comfortable.
