Appartement so cute, Really nice people, in a lovely village !

We couldn't park the car really close, but that's the only thing to improve

Typical apartment in old town. Very authentic and charming. Breakfast was served in a nice village cafe close by. Eva gave us all the information we needed to access the apartment. A very good experience !

Nothing. (It was not a problem for us but be advised there are quite a few steps to access the apartment, it is a part of the authentic experience ! )

Location is right in the center of the village, Yet it was rather quiet. Good sleep due to no noise and no traffic around. Plus the bed was comfi and the quilt warm. All felt clean and pleasant. No bad smell. No dust or dirt. Owner was very responsive. Iron, hair dryer and plenty of towels were readily available as well as god quality liquid soap. There were also extra blankets should it be needed. There are two rooms, one bedroom and one living room/kitchen with a door separating them. This was nice (prevented cooking smell from getting into the sleeping quarters and allowed one to sleep while the other watches TV or reads.) There are two heat pumps, one in each room which is a plus. On one side, the window opens on a tree/garden instead of another house. Also rather pleasant. The cooking plate is an induction plaque. For those who never used it , it can surprise one as it switches off only within 3 seconds after the pan has been lifted from the heating ring. But it is otherwise very responsive both for heating up or cooling down. So great for cooking and still saves some energy (at least one assumes so). The village has restaurants and cafes as well as two bars and an organic/bio shop. Truly. Even a bio shop which has plenty of nice stuffs. The tourist info center is only open on Sat and Sundays which is a bit of a shame (not eva's house's fault). By the way, there is a very nice book in Italian in Eva's house about dolceAqua, including not only history but also geology, botany and a list of possible activities while in Dolceaqua. Also a plus, there is a dictionary Italian French in the house. The main lighting is a bit harsh but very efficient. For a softer atmosphere, there are small soft lights between the kitchen and the living room which are very pleasant for a romantic evening. Thank you Eva. Looking forward to coming back. Great location, great breakfast, great host, great bed & pillows!

Less bright / sunlight inside than I expected but totally ok overall :)

Dolceacqua is a gem of a community and makes for a fantastic base. The property is on the left side of the river and is within the old narrow 4-5 storey streets. Although small, the property was great for a 4-day stay. Eva was excellent and her communication was brilliant as host.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor accessed by a very steep flight of stone stairs. I am blind and found it a challenge going up and down them (especially with luggage, although I was helped on arrival)
