The White Rose Apartment

The design was great, the apartment is very pretty and well located. There are some nice details as coffee pods or spices. Overall amazing stay!

Great, pretty and comfy studio right infront of the port (just some 12 steps to go up and you are there). Lots of light, nice decor like the pics show. Short walk from the main port area. Alexandros was very polite and responsive in Whatsapp and recommended great places for dining and cocktails. We would stay again! Recommended

I think the shower needs some attention. Small space, no curtain and the shower floor drops only 1 inch so the water comes out and it gets messy on the bathroom floor (we used a towel to keep it in check). The light over the steps was also flickering sometimes so it would be better to fix it (you heed the light to go up and down the steps at night). But all in all, great pleasant stay!

Owner met us at the property to hand over the keys, he couldn't have been nicer and gave us restaurant, bar and beach advice. Property is on the main harbour-front road and is a 5 minute walk from where the ferry docks. Apartment is more than large enough for 2 people, bed is super-king size and comfortable (my wife thought it was a tad firm). There is a small kitchen which we never use when travelling, and a nice bathroom with a good shower. Hot water was a heater rather than solar so plenty of water for a good shower. There is a very small balcony but we both sat out there for coffee in the morning. We did find we had to keep the curtains closed during the day as the big windows let in an enormous amount of light (and heat)! Aircon worked fine.

There was only one negative, and not the apartments fault, but on Saturday and Sunday nights there is a lot of traffic noise until about 4am which did wake us a few times. Monday night onwards there was no issue at all.

I liked the brightness, the view, the style, the easy lighting, the location, the host, the climate and having sunshine in February. It was great to be able to walk everywhere; to the beaches, the tavernas, the amazing bakery, the supermarket. I loved the sunsets.
