Oka Kartini Ubud

The Ibu here is fabulous and the place has a strong history with dance in Ubud- the presence of art is all around. The pool area is lovely, the location is great. A lovely local guesthouse overall, if you are not highly strung

Mum asked for a blanket and the guy offered her a used one from a previous guest that was dirty! Room servicing happens once every 3 days, if this bothers you.

That I couldn’t stay longer

Everything was perfect. It felt like being with family. They were all so thoughtful & kind & considerate. I would definitely recommend to friends. The puppet show was a bonus. To meet the owner was a true delight. She is an awesome women, with a interesting history & tells it well.

Didn’t like the moth balls in the bathroom. They are toxic, but I just put them in a bag & placed outside.

The property looks stunning at first sight, but it could do with a deep clean. The pool is nice but the it was in the shadow from 2 pm (beginning of October). The location is very good.

It’s not very clean

Whilst the room itself is quite basic, the location is in the prime centre of Ubud. Just walk outside and you have a variety of markets, restaurants and massage salons within your reach. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful when I had difficulty finding my next location and even spent 40mins driving and trying to help me find it! Many thanks to the amazing staff!
