Villa Fridhem, Härnösand

Att köket låg i ett separat hus på gården och svårtillgängligt pga att hyresgästerna i det huset låste dörren.

The location was amazing, we could literally see the water from our bedroom window/balcony! The grounds/gardens were also amazing, super spatious with many different areas to sit and eat outside while enjoying the view. There was also a swimming place (badplats) like 5 minutes away and we were very close by car to the town area where there are multiple supermarkets, stores, restaurants, etc. The staff was very friendly. Well equipped kitchen.

The building is very old and while that added to the charm of the stay, the house definitely need maintenance and improvement. The bedroom was INSANELY hot during the night and all we had was a fan and the option to keep our windows open - which at times did not feel like enough. Even though we requested a private bathroom, it also felt a little scummy that we had our own bathroom but it was separate from the room. This meant that we had to go out into the corridor and risk seeing other guests while coming from the shower, for example. The room had an amazing balcony, but unfortunately we could not take advantage of it because they had a problem with wasps, which they seemed pretty relaxed about. The common kitchen is in a separate building from the main house (where we stayed), which at times was a little stressful too. I'm aware that it is an old house, but I left with several spider bites on my arm and legs (!!!!), so I wish the room had been more properly cleaned to avoid this. I know it was spiders because of how the bites looked like (Google search) and because my boyfriend saw several in the room (luckily I didn't, as I have arachnophobia).

Really fascinating Villa, with sea view and a big garden, close to the city. We felt very welcomed. Kitchen well equipped, and good that they offer to possibility bring own bedding to spare on the cost.

Given that the building is old and wood-made, rooms are not very insulated with each other.

The villa is very quirky , Run by 2 lovely ladies , who couldn't do enough for us . our room was clean and comfortable. we opted for the extra (cost ) bedding but were under no pressure to do so. We also opted for the (Extra cost ) evening meal ...which was a bargain ! Id recommend the Villa to anyone !

Its old and Quirky ...but that's part of its charm !

The house is very charming and tastefully decorated! The room was comfortable, spacious, and very clean!
