1 Bed City Studio near Theatre and Station Secure Parking

Nice apartment, clean, had all the facilities, close to the center. Host was helpful when we needed.

Really lovely and clean place to stay. Has a great location and the owner was very helpful when we needed them. Would stay again.

It was fine and nothing was wrong with the place.

The room was fine, with comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen area. The shower was good and bathroom in general perfectly OK.

The blinds are useless, especially disappointing as other reviewers had previously made the same point. They let in far too much light and there is a gap under one that means that if someone really wanted to, they could watch you while you are in bed.

Proximity to the New Theatre for work bed comfy, lovely big windows. Stylish and modern.

Blinds let in too much light ( area is very lit up at night great for safety if walking home late, but no way of getting the studio dark to sleep) if I was staying for a night or two then it wouldn’t have been so bad but I stayed for a whole week with very little sleep! Bathroom was grubby, bathroom mat had bad smelling scum in the underside and I even found someone’s old hair extension down the side of the sink. Neighbours in the block very noisy, slamming doors and talking loud long past midnight and would often leave the main doors to the building on the latch which felt a bit unsafe as the studio is right next to the main doors.

Great location, owners were a great help, it had everything we needed.

Bed uncomfortable, important email re location and keys did not arrive till late so we did not have this information when we arrived at the unit . Owners where able to be connected and we're a great support

It was our first time in Hull, we stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed our break. Location of the studio is excellent as the train and bus station, the old town and the shops are all minutes walk away. The flat was very clean and well equipped and the bed quite comfortable. It's situated on the ground floor and access is so easy, by a key code box (just remember to put the key back in the box at the end of your stay as we forgot, though Gil was very nice about it). The Wifi, TV and shower were all good too. There are some friendly pubs and restaurants nearby too where locals are happy to help you with info about Hull. Gil also also provided tea, coffee, sugar and milk, washing up liquid and hand soap and shower jell, everything that we required, so we'll definitely book with Gil the next time we're up there in Hull.

We didn't dislike anything though we found the little gap under the blinds a little wide, so perhaps some curtains to stop the early morning light coming in.
