The host is super friendly and very helpful. He checked in with me everyday to see how I was and gave lots of suggestions on how I could get to places. He had lots of beautiful, playful cats as well as a dog haha! The location is good being in the middle of the island, but I recommend you rent a bike, as grab bikes don't work on the island so it becomes expensive getting grab cars everywhere. If this isn't possible, you can use the free bus to some places. The host gave me a lift to the nearby stops on a few occasions, which was very kind of him :)

There's not many options for restaurants nearby if you don't have a bike. I couldn't get the hot water to work
