A Magical Gem in Crete – Lyra Petra Villa is Simply Outstanding! Our stay at Lyra Petra Villa was nothing short of incredible. This brand-new, beautifully designed villa exceeded all expectations and offered the perfect balance of luxury and comfort for our group. The villa boasts 9 beds and 4 modern bathrooms, which made it ideal for a larger family or group of friends. The design and interior could easily have been taken straight out of a high-end interior magazine—every detail is thought through, and the atmosphere is both elegant and homely. Outside, the villa is just as stunning. The two-level outdoor area includes a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, a private pool, plenty of sun loungers, and comfortable lounge seating for everyone. The views are breathtaking—especially from the upper floors and the outdoor kitchen—offering panoramic vistas of the sea and the charming town of Rethymno. Each floor has direct access to a balcony or terrace, adding to the feeling of space and openness. The hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. One of the many perks was the regular cleaning service every third day, which included fresh linens, indoor towels, pool towels, trash removal, and restocking of luxurious toiletries. There’s even a large laundry room, so you don’t need to pack too much. The location is also perfect. A short walk takes you to a local store that has everything you need, while the vibrant Old Town of Rethymno is just 13 minutes away by car. We highly recommend renting a car to explore the area at your own pace. There are plenty of beautiful beaches nearby—we visited several within 7 to 15 minutes from the villa and never felt the need to drive further. Each one was a little piece of paradise. One of the highlights of our trip was booking a private chef through the hosts for a magical evening at the outdoor kitchen. It was an unforgettable experience and truly elevated our stay.

Amazing stay with great amenities overall and attention to detail! The villa was spotless and the hosts ensured everything was perfect for a relaxing and comfortable experience. Very quiet area yet close to Rethymno old town. Highly recommended!
