"Zero tolerance in weather alert situation (floods)"

It's easy to reach out to the host and communicate.

Northern Italy was blocked by floods, highways, mountain passes and tunnels were closed due to avalanches and landslides (see web news on Easter break 2025). I alerted the host I would not be able to travel, but she decided not to waive the cancellation fees (full booking price). Legitimate as for booking policies, but still not very welcoming given the extreme situation. Poor if any mediation by booking - I would have accepted to pay some fee, but the full price is a shame given the national emergency - authorities were suggesting people to stay home and avoid travel.

"Pleasant"

Host was very welcoming, was waiting for my arrival to sort out the keys.

Quite far from the train stations and if you’re going for the football it’s a bit of a distance from the ground .
