Old Palace Hotel

This is a fantastic little hotel run by a lovely family. It is literally 5 minutes walk from The Registan and just a little walk from all the major sights/ market - you just have to walk through a park and tree lined avenue and you will find lots of shops and plenty of restaurants.The Madrassars and mosques are just spectacular. When you first pull up to the hotel it looks just a little run down but please dont let that put you off at all- inside the rooms are really charming and very comfortable. They are spotlessly clean, towels and toiletries are provided and are refreshed every day. Breakfast is wonderful.

In the description the room was meant to have a bath and a washing machine- it didn't, but I think this was something lost in translation rather than deliberate.

The room is exceptionally clean. Being within walking distance of various amenities adds significant convenience. The neighborhood's tranquility is certainly a welcome aspect for a relaxing stay. Furthermore, the staff's kindness and helpfulness enhance the overall experience. The wide selection available for buffet breakfast is definitely an added bonus to this great place.

This was my second stay at this beautiful place. The hosts are friendly, the breakfast in the courtyard is great, and the location couldn’t be better. I’ll definitely stay here again!

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, 5 min.walk from Registan square. The hotel has a special atmosphere with its tradicional decoration. Very good plov was served in the diner next door. We really enjoyed our stay

We had a lovely stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the hotel had a great atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of options. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

立地の良さにまず驚きました。サマルカンド駅からタクシーで宿へ移動していましたが、サマルカンド最大の観光スポットであるレギスタン広場の前の道を通りかかり「すごいねー」とおしゃべりしてから、ほんの少し路地を走ったらホテルに到着でした。サマルカンドの見所として有名な場所へはだいたい徒歩で到達可能です。宿自体は大きな道から一本入った路地に面していますが、近くに遅くまで営業しているスーパー等があり便利です。宿の前には定食屋さん（宿と共同経営？）もあります。一方施設内は静かで落ち着いた雰囲気でした（宿泊客がそれほど多くなかったからかも）。 お部屋は広くはありませんが、必要十分なものが揃っています。何よりウズベキスタンの特色をふんだんに盛り込んだインテリアが素敵です。 朝食は中庭で頂きます。レセプションにいた男性が準備をしてくれます（ブッフェスタイルではありません）。フカフカのナンや、焼きたてサクサクのサモサ、季節のフルーツなど盛りだくさんで満足度が高かったです。恐らく宿の前の定食屋さんの厨房で朝食メニューとして作っているものを配膳してくれていたのだと思います。私が行った10月中旬は梨が最高でした！ 事前の質問への対応も的確で、当日対応してくれた方々も大変親切でした。

日中、敷地内への入り口は出入り自由な感じで開放されていました。深夜どうなっていたのかは不明。各客室のドアはしっかり施錠可能でしたが防犯上不安な人は不安かも？

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel in absoluter Gehweite vom Registan. Wir fühlten uns von Anfang an wohl, das Zimmer ist sehr geschmacksvoll eingerichtet und die Ausstattung top. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und vielseitig. Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit! Unbedingt den Plov im Restaurant vom Hotel probieren.
