Seaside House-Next to the Beach, Sleeps 6

Delightful property in a lovely seaside town. Clean and well presented with good amenities. Nice touch of a welcome book with useful information on the property and the local area. The flat was warm which was good on a cold February weekend. Comfy beds. Bathroom was modern with a good shower. Easy to park close by which was great. Helpful and responsive owner.

It was my error but I didn’t realise there wasn’t a dishwasher which is frustrating but as I say I didn’t read the description properly. Some of the kitchen cupboards were looking a little dated, and could do with some sharper knives!

It's a good location, clean

The locals that live downstairs. There's absolutely no sound proofing and they start kicking off from 7:30pm onwards until at least 11pm+. They have two big dogs that are left out barking and fighting. Also their front door has obviously been taken off the hinges by the police going off the marks and holes and the way they have to slam it shut everytime

Spotlessly clean 3 bed apartment on a very quiet road just 5 minutes from the beach at South Shields. Free parking right outside and handy shops 5 minutes away. We cooked one night and both breakfasts. It had everything we needed. Well located so we could get to Sunderland and Newcastle very easily. Nice to walk around the local area too. Communication from the host was outstanding throughout. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, comfortable and spacious flat in a quiet residential street close to the lovely beach. Had a great time reacquainting myself with South Shields, and touring from Cragside in Northumberland to the ancient city of Durham, plus the vibrant shopping and nightlife of Newcastle, all of which are in easy reach. One of many high points was Beamish museum- fantastic!
