We absolutely loved the apartment with it's gorgeous glass conservatory and huge roof terrace overlooking the square.

Carmela the housekeeper is extremely rude. She'd been to clean the roof terrace so had already met my friend who arrived before me. I noticed that the window and sliding doors do not lock, so I text Carmela. She then came back later to the property and literally walked past me in the foyer, totally ignoring me. I was with my friend so she knew who I was. I was really shocked with Carmela's attitude. My friend and I were doing different activities every day, so we asked for a second set of keys. We were not given them. On our last night my friend came back very late while I was packing, but I accidentally grabbed my own home door keys in order to go downstairs to let my friend in. This rendered us locked out of the apartment. Luckily Carmela did answer her phone and sent her keys by taxi at a cost to me of 40 euros. It would've been an absolutely tragedy had we been locked out all night. Two sets of keys are essential, as proven that night. After four days I had to ask Carmela for fresh towels and clean bed linen. They were left on our doorstep after five days. The apartment was not cleaned for eight days, in fact Carmela said I could do it myself if I wanted to! The photos show two sun beds which was a selling point to us with the roof terrace. There were no sun beds, and Carmela has not removed the photo on booking.com showing them.

Great location, Carman met us at the property and gave helpful info about getting around. Wonderful base to see Sicily 😀

The shower did go cold on a couple of occasions and needed to press the reset button.

Très bon emplacement. Appartement spacieux et clair, une belle terrasse, une jolie vue. Très bonne literie.

Pas de siège ni d’abattant sur les WC. Chauffe-eau en panne, apparemment depuis longtemps. Donc douche à l’eau froide le plus souvent. Eau tiède rare. Un filet d’eau à la douche car pas de pression. Tous ces dysfonctionnements ont été signalés, mais jamais réparés. Un grille-pain serait souhaitable. À 120 euros la nuitée, on peut s'attendre à une salle de bains plus correcte.
