The food was fantastic

The room could have done with blackout curtains - this is a necessity really.

The manor has been heavily refurbished, it’s now modern, which is a little shame that it’s lost and loosing some of it’s history / charm, but it’s beautiful still and very clean and comfortable

The chandelier has been replaced by a modern strip light. It was a beautiful feature, so it’s a bit of a shame in my view

Well laid out hotel, modern and very clean. Lovely finishing touches. Good quality fixtures and fittings.

The exterior was full of charm and elegance while or recently refurbished room was up to date and clean.

Some of the new lighting took some getting acquainted with and no refrigerator.

Beautiful hotel and beautiful welcome. Food was sensational and our newly refurbished room was stunning .

Quiet and comfortable. Truly splendid views across the Solway Firth. Excellent food

Everything was very good. The staff was very friendly and interested. The breakfast was excellent.

Gaining access to the room with a digital keycard was sometimes difficult. But even now, the staff was very helpful in resolving the problem.

The place was shabby, dirty, no staff around (this was bank holiday Sunday) the room was awful, looked and smelled dirty. Peeling wallpaper, filthy bath panel, very dated and damaged furniture. Hotel carpets threadbare and stained. Absolute nightmare.

I stay at the Hunday whenever I am away for work and never disappointed.
