"Good staff"

Food great. Bit expensive staff fab. Nothing to much trouble.

The room was lovely. No fan as was really hot. And we looked out on to the kitchen extractor fans which was noisy. No view. .

Welcoming staff. Beautiful location. Sunday food was amazing.

The building works, but obv we knew about them. Breakfast wasn’t the best (eggs Benedict)

"Good hotel to stay if you are in the area"

We stayed for one night on a saturday when visiting Lake District. The property is in a quiet and peaceful location . The staff were friendly and healpful. The breakfast was excellent.

The room looked tiered but was clean and tidy. There was some construction work going on around the property and the view from our room was straight on to the work site.

Lovely hotel as always. Although it is undergoing a full renovation it did not affect our stay. We stay regularly here when visiting family.
