CZVery well renovated house with a fine touch of someone who values historical roots of the building & island. Close to city center. Great breakfast Shared kitchen (although we didn't use much), everything polished & clean, easy to use. Booking offered free of charge taxi. This was a decision making point while deciding between few options.
Due to size of the pipes it is advised/asked to put the used toilet paper into a bin (which IS being picked up everyday). This is a big no-no wherever I go, and I know it's not unfortunately fault of the owner sometimes. (one can renovate the house pipes but still on street there could be a thin one). It took ages to get hot water in the shower. If something could be done with 2 points above I am happy to come back.

USIt was comfortable and close to the downtown area without being crowded or too noisy. It’s a nice old home with high ceilings and your typical Azorean decor. Bed was comfortable and the shower was great.
Coming from keyless entry, it took me a few tries with jet-lag to open my door with an old-fashioned warded lock. Bit I was an expert by the end of the stay!
CAClean, quiet hotel, comfortable with continental breakfast and friendly staff. Easy to check in. Free parking is available nearby. Loved the theme of the hotel.
Street noise, I would have appreciated softer pillows.
