"A wonderful little gem of a place to stay."

10.0

A wonderful little gem of a place to stay. Very cosy and warm, modern, extremely well appointed, and beautifully decorated. Private, quiet and with a lovely view. Very accommodating hosts and some friendly pet sheep to feed. A great little pub/shop not far down the road in Athol that serves simple but tasty dinners and lunches. There is also an EV charging station nearby and a lovely little art gallery.

Nothing at all.

"A place to relax in the heart of nature"

10.0

The accommodation is quite remote, but it is beautiful. Just right for someone looking for pure nature. The hosts were very nice and even provided us with a water bubbler when they heard that we like to drink fizzy water. We really enjoyed our days here.

"Heavenly!"

10.0

The Little Breck Guest Lodge was heavenly. The setting is truly beautiful and tranquil. It is set atop a hill overlooking rolling green hills and pasture. The house itself was spotless and exquisitely furnished. The sheep are friendly and fun to feed. Thank you for a great stay!

"Wonderful cottage with lovely hosts in balance with its surroundings."

10.0

On our tour of the South Island of New Zealand , we needed a place to stay overnight, south of Queenstown. We stayed overnight, but had we known what wonderful cottage Sheena and Duncan had created, we would certainly have stayed longer. They immediately made us feel at home and the cottage has all the amenities you can imagine and on top of that is as sustainable as it gets. An inspiring example of the use water from rainfall and renewable energy to operate a self sustaining home. The view from the cottage is phenomenal and ‘a sky full of stars’ has a new meaning for us now.
