The Snug

Cozy place to stay in the centre of Cockermouth.

Obviously the paid for parking is a few mins walk away which wasn't such a massive issue really but unloading/loading was tricky due to the well used road. So every time we started we had to move the car again.

After a week of not having a kitchen it was great to have one here. The location is just off the high street so everything you need is in walking distance.

Carpet on the stairs case needs touching up the gripping spike are coming through which can be painful when stepped on. No parking on the property but the owner recommended a good 24hr parking lot. Also if the street parking nearby is free after 6pm so you can plan around that.

Fab use of the space! Bed was so comfy and the bedroom really cosy. For being so close to the centre, it was really quiet on a night

Nothing negative to say! My only very small complaint would be potentially looking at upgrading the stair carpet as the runners are popping through on a couple of stairs

The bed and quilt were so comfy. Although I did not need it. There was every thing in the kitchen you would need.

The location was fantastic

The toilet so close to the kitchen basically in the same room. It's a shame the lounge and kitchen couldn't be downstairs. Other than that it was clean and well stocked with toiletries and kitchen utensils

Very small as advertised but had everything you would need for a short break
