Haven With Patio

Quiet location, spacious apartment, two good bathrooms, nicely carpeted throughout.

No washing-up brush or cloth; no caffetiere or other coffee machine; small signs of wear and tear throughout (i.e. walls and some furniture) smelly, worn, clothes and packet of rizlas found in top drawer in kitchen-living room(!); needed many more towels, one towel had a hole in it; could have done with more crockery.

Contactless check in. Spacious property, comfortable bed, indoor secure car park I enjoy the ensuit in each room.

It was dark. I had to use torch on phone to find the keysafe. The instruction was still slightly off. The building is not the same one as the one you have parked in.

Einfache Schlüsselübergabe. Die Vormieter hatten einige Sachen zurückgelassen, aber es kam recht schnell jemand, der die Sachen abholte. Das Auto konnten wir über Nacht in der Garage parken.

Die Reinigung war ungenügend (zurückgelassene Kleider der Vormieter, Reste im Tiefkühler). Das Geschirr in der Spülmaschine war noch dreckig, die Vormieter hatten diese anscheinend nicht gestartet - auch dies muss durch die Reinigung kontrolliert werden! Reinigungsmittel wurden nicht wieder aufgefüllt. Die Matratzen sind sehr hart und die Betten sind für die Grösse der Wohnung schon recht schmal. Einzelbetten zumindest in einem Zimmer wären von Vorteil gewesen.

Location was great. The balcony overlooking the garden was lovely. It was nice sitting having breakfast, listening to the birds.

I love my own mattress at home and struggle to find any as comfortable.

Amazing property! Very well equipped, spotless and comfortable. Cozy and warm with the heating on too which was great for us as we live in Australia (originally from Basingstoke) and there was a cold snap whilst we were staying. Short walk into town. We didn’t have a car but there was an allocated space and also visitor parking.

Finding the bike shed for the lock box on the first day took a bit of hunting. Would be hard in the dark (we arrived in daylight so was ok).
