I had an amazing time at Karimunjawa and especially Eco Casa. Very friendly owners and staff, perfect location, good restaurant and a very nice bungalow. Everything was well maintaned and the bungalows were very clean. I will come back to Eco Casa if i go to Karimunjawa again.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Eco Casa sehr genossen. Die Lage ist fantastisch, direkt mit privaten Strand mit Meerblick. Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr freundlich. Das Essen hat einen guten mix aus lokaler Küche und italienischen Gerichten.

Das einzige was wir vermisst haben sind Handtücher, es wurden lediglich Kimonos bereit gestellt Ersatz.

March 2026 We booked a wooden house for 3 nights there. Only regret is that I wish we could have stay more! The resort is owned by an Italian family who created a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere in Karimunjawa. ACCESS : the resort is lost in luxurious nature with a private beach. Perfect for those looking for calm, relaxation and connection to nature. It took approximately 40 minutes to arrive there from the harbour with a driver from the resort picking us up. The price was 250k. Once you're there, you can rent a motorbike for 75k a day. I did my first long motorbike ride in there!! Core memory :) ATMOSPHERE : if you're looking for relaxation, calm, silence and chill vibes, this is the place for you. The room are cosy, not too big, not too small. From memory I would say that they have two family house (two rooms) and 10+ for duo. The beach is beautiful, peaceful. FOOD : we tried the following dishes that can be seen on the pictures attached : bruschette, tempeh mendoan, nasi goreng, ikan kakatoa, pindang serani and tuna pasta. My go-to recommendations would be the Ikan Kakatoa and the pindang serani soup. Delicious! Breakfast is served between 7 and 9, althought they were flexible. We once woke up quite late (10:30) and were able to benefit from the breakfast anyway. ACTIVITIES : the resort has a few canoes that are free of use for the guests. We used it everyday to explore the surroundings and do some snorkeling. You can rent snorkeling gear for 30k a day. They offer different tour (snorkelling, island hopping, hikking etc.) for which you can find the details on the pictures attached. You can also find some books, cards and domino in site. The only thing missing would be a pool and - surprise - one should be available from May onwards. Hope we can come back to see that!
