Cocciu d’amuri Apartment

The host was great to meet us (since we had a little trouble navigating there). We were able to rent parking spot just outside (although a parking deck was not very far away but this was even more convenient). Nice ground floor apartment that had a washing machine. Shower and balcony were both tiny but served their purpose! You could see the water from the balcony, so it was a nice view! Rooms were quite large and the kids seemed ok on the sofa bed. It is a short walk up to Porta Messina but be aware there are steps and not a lot of sidewalk to get there! It was also a short walk to the cable car to the beach, but we wound up just driving there (to Isola Bella) after our day trip out to Alacantra to body raft!

I think the oven kept tripping the breaker...and resetting it wasn't as straightforward as one would have liked. But after a quick text to the host, she sent us pictures and a video of how to reset. And then we were good to go. It was truly only an issue b/c the washing machine hadn't finished...and we forget that electricity is cut off after you remove the key that turns everything on :)

The location is great and the ammenities. It was clean and a quaint apartment for the four of us. The host Morena was so helpful in helping organise transport and providing details of key attractions

Very clean, in a peaceful neighbourhood, close to the city center. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed (even small things like salt, pepper, tea - it really makes a difference). Comfy couch Nice view from the terrace Very cozy Friendly owners

The view from the small balcony is stunning. Car parking is at the property. The unit size is generous and it's been recently upgraded. Morena, the host, is very nice and helpful.

Arrive later than expected due to reasons outwith my control but good communication with the hosts who met me at the property and showed me the facilities which were excellent . The apartment was very clean and seemed newly refurbished also very well equipped including basic provisions for breakfast which was appreciated . The location was excellent just a few minutes walk from the historic centre however involved a lot of steep steps and a short walk on a busy road with no kerb so anyone with mobility issues may struggle . If I was going back to Taormina I would happily stay here again it was a lovely short stay .

A very good option for a reasonable price for having an excursion in Taormina.
