Rooms fantastic and lovely staff

Our room was clean and a good size, the shower was fantastic. TV was modern and had all the subscription channels. If you like star gazing then the room had a window in the ceiling and a telescope in the room. Brilliant! The staff in the pub were very helpful and attentive.

Not a major issue but the cupboard was not really adequate and only had three hangers.

We had a lovely stay whilst visiting as part of a trip to the observatory. Rooms were a good size, clean and very comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the service/ food was great. Free parking close by.

The location was ideal for The Pennine Way, it was clean with excellent facilities and food. The bedroom was immaculate.

My room was clearly above the gents so you could hear conversations and language probably not suitable for minors, and when the hand dryer was used it did sound like someone was vacuuming my room.

The establishment was very easy to find and there was free parking near by. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was excellent. It was clean and furnished to a high standard. The bathroom was particularly good with a great shower. Our room contained a telescope and a velux window in the ceiling for star gazing.The hotel has a pizza oven which makes delicious fresh pizzas and the full English breakfast was excellent. We are vegetarian and this was catered for really well.

We enjoyed everything!

Very central location in the small town of Bellingham. Staff were extremely friendly & hospitable from the second we walked through the door. The room was newly refurbished, having the sky light in the roof to look at the stars at night is a lovely touch. We had a clear night and could see so many stars! We also had dinner at the pub which was great, with very generous portions.

When we arrived the room wasn’t set up how it was requested on the booking, we had a double rather than a twin bed. BUT the staff were very quick in getting it sorted so it was easily remedied and didn’t impact our stay at all… the benefit of staying above the pub was we had a beer whilst waiting for the room to be ready!

Food was good but booking dot com got the breakfast included wrong.

The rooms are immaculate and the team are so friendly and helpful. From bizarre breakfast orders (I can't my mother anywhere...) which were more than fulfilled to a relaxing environment to stay to banter with the team, my family and I had a wonderful stay. Thank you!
