"Great place with an uplifting feel."

I thought we had booked a hotel in Hardenberg. But at 17:30 I realized I must have made a mistake because there was no confirmation to be found. As we were on a bike trip I looked on booking.com. The best option was De Zilveren Maan. It seemed we landed in a little slice of paradise. The old farm house is nicely renovated. The owner was very welcoming and nice. The room was very cosy and clean. There was a nice restaurant around the corner. We loved the breakfast. Everything was there rolls, bread, spreads, eggs, but also consciously done so that there was no waste. The next morning we saw how beautiful the grounds were. We biked off feeling that we had hit the jackpot.

Nothing we didn't appreciate. Oh maybe one thing. There is an automatic light sensor in the corridor to our room. When others turn it on at night it lights up the room a bit. But once again..pretty minor.
