Great location. Stylish home.

A bit noisy.

I travelled Sicily for a week with a friend and our stay at Casa Clo was superb. Claudia was there to meet us on arrival and give a tour of the apratment which is beautifully appointed and very well equiped. It may be cliched to say it felt like home, but it is very true. My friend and I both commented that it's probably the best short term accommodation either of us could remember staying in. Whenever I get back to Palermo, and I most certainly will, I'll be sure to stay at Casa Clo.

Location, size of flat & kitchen was nice, spices should all be replaced.

not easy- with no access to the a working phone I had to ask a stranger to call. It worked out ok. She was very helpful once I got in. There were issues w hot water the first day. The owner came by and we did get it fixed. There are stairs to the bedroom. Lighting controls were confusing.

The location is perfect. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped. The host is wonderful and pleasant. Only problem is that we stayed just two nights. Will definitely return.

We were two couples travelling thru Sicily for three weeks, we stayed here for four nights. Arriving in Palermo following an international flight, we secured space on a spared taxi that dropped of us not too far from the apartment, about a 10 minute walk. Communication with Claudia was excellent and she provided detailed directions how to get to the apartment from the airport. The apartment is in an excellent location, just down the road from the Cathedral, with several bars and restaurants nearby. There is a pastry shop just down the street, along with a well stocked grocery store. All the main attractions, including both the Capo and Vucciria markets were within walking distance. A stop at the roof top bar of the Hotel Ambasciator is highly recommended, and do not forget to visit the Cappadonia which has the best gelato in Palermo. Claudia met us at the apartment and gave us a quick tour. Although the apartment is well appointed, I found it a bit dark. The evenings were quiet even though the apartment is located in the heart of Palermo. The apartment is a two level unit and located on the 2nd floor of an older building, we used the small freight elevator to bring our luggage up to the apartment. Both bedrooms are located on the second floor. The master has an ensuite bathroom, while the second bathroom was located on the main floor. The main floor also has three small balconies. We found the apartment to be very clean and appreciated having a detailed instruction booklet which we consulted to determine how to run the appliances. As an aside, the towels were large and fluffy. Although there is an air conditioner, it is located on the main floor. Overall, our stay was very comfortable and a stay here is recommended.

The apartment is in a great location, close distance to local restaurants and attractions in the historic area of Palermo. The apartment is a two level unit nicely decorated. We were two couples who stayed for 4 nights. There are two bedrooms on the upper level and two bathrooms, however one of the bathrooms is on the first floor. There is both a washing machine and dryer which was a much appreciated bonus giving us the option to hang our clothes outside off the balcony clothesline or in the dryer or both. We had a rental car. Parking is at a premium but we managed to find a parking spot for the duration of our stay with Claudia’s help. She was a gracious and helpful host. She has compiled a binder with helpful information about the apartment and provides many brochures and restaurant information. The property has one air conditioner on the main floor which cooled the main apartment nicely but is a little insufficient for the bedrooms upstairs.

There is not much sunlight in the apartment, which could be a minus for a longer stay
