Il delfino holiday house

Giuseppe is zeer gastvrij en ontving ons op het station. Korte wandeling, 5 traptredes op en midden in het centrum van Cefalu troffen we een fantastisch appartement aan. Van alle gemakken voorzien, zeer zeer schoon. Alles nieuw. Giuseppe en zijn familie wonen boven en hij is zeer gemakkelijk te bereiken en benaderbaar voor alle vragen. Aan het einde van de straat kom je meteen op een van de prachtige zandstranden. Winkels, restaurants. apotheek ed alles binnen 5 minuten lopen. Genoeg mogelijkheden om uitstapjes te regelen en trein en bus station ook vlakbij. Cefalu is een pareltje, wat hebben wij genoten. Een dikke 10 voor deze plek en gastheer die zichtbaar geniet van het ontvangen van mensen.

We rented this apartment in Cefalù, and I can honestly say it is one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in during our three-week trip around Europe. The location is perfect — only a 5-minute walk from the train station and less than 5 minutes from the beach and city centre. We were warmly greeted by the owner upon arrival, who personally showed us all the amenities of the apartment. Even after check-out, he came to say goodbye to us despite it being very early in the morning. He always replied quickly on WhatsApp whenever we had questions, and he even came back to explain how to use the cooker. He told us that we were only the second guests to stay there, so everything was brand new, including the kitchen appliances and cutlery. Because of this, we were able to prepare our own meals whenever we didn’t feel like eating at restaurants. Most importantly for us, there was a washing machine available, which was very convenient during our long trip. This apartment honestly felt even better than a 5-star hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bedding was of excellent quality, and the entire apartment was beautifully decorated with modern furnishings. Above all, I loved the large framed photograph of Cefalù displayed in one of the rooms. I wish I had asked the owner where he bought it because I could not stop admiring it. The whole apartment was extremely clean, and the beautiful plants in the entrance area made it feel very welcoming and relaxing. The entire place also smelled wonderful, just like a luxury hotel. I would highly recommend this apartment. Instead of staying in an expensive hotel, stay here — it is so convenient, with a fresh bakery, fruit and vegetable market, and grocery store all just a few minutes away. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Cefalù. Thank you so much to Giuseppe and his wife for taking such good care of us.

Ottimo appartamento ampio e molto pulito con tutto il necessario per il soggiorno. La posizione era ottima, tutto era facilmente raggiungibile a piedi, spiaggia, centro, ristoranti e negozi. I proprietari non avrebbero potuto essere più disponibili e cordiali.

The location was great with everything being an easy walk away. The swimming area was lovely and the restaurants and tavernas were everywhere. Also the owners couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.

Nothing! We were there for 4 days as we squeezed in an extra day because 3 days wasn't enough. We enjoyed it all.
