Michaela's House

Our time spent at Michaela’s House in Crete was truly exceptional and wonderful. We spent 3 weeks here with our 5 children, and the property completely exceeded all our expectations. Michaela, along with her mother and father, turned out to be the most delightful, helpful people you rarely cross paths with nowadays. They welcomed us with open arms and showered us with wonderful, kind warmth and genuine Cretan hospitality. The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous, and even the neighbors turned out to be exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The swimming pool was a massive hit and brought so much joy and fun to our children every single day. Michaela also went above and beyond to ensure our one-year-old baby was completely safe by providing a playpen, a crib, and a high chair. The views from the property were simply breathtaking, and the spectacular sunrises and sunsets will remain in our memories forever. In fact, the children did not want to return home at all, especially since they befriended the lovely local cats that regularly visited us. Overall, it was a sensational time that will never fade from our family's memories. We highly recommend this place to everyone! PS The fridge was stocked with basic necessities and fruit to start our stay. We also had the opportunity to try Michaela and her mother's signature dish (it was delicious) and went to Michaela's dad's pizzeria, where we sampled equally delicious pizza. We highly recommend visiting the pizzeri :)

Our stay with Michaela, in the heart of Chania, has come to an end! We spent a wonderful holiday on this beautiful island, and much of that was thanks to Michaela, who was available to help us throughout our stay. She gave us a warm welcome together with her father, Nick. We arrived at 9:00 pm, and they were waiting for us to hand over the keys, with a pizza ready for us, having thoughtfully anticipated that we might not have had dinner. They had also kindly stocked the fridge with a few essentials and several bottles of water. Never in all our travels have we received such a warm and thoughtful welcome. And what can we say about the house, tastefully renovated by Michaela and Nick? It’s peaceful and ideally located. The décor is elegant, the bedrooms are comfortable, and the terrace invites you to relax and unwind. The swimming pool is a wonderful bonus, especially after a day spent sightseeing or hiking. Thank you Michaela, for everything. We sincerely hope to have the immense pleasure of coming back to see you again, and we will do everything we can to make that happen. Totul a fost minunat, dacă vom reveni vreodată în creta sigur tot aici ne vom caza!!!Camere confortabile ,grătar, baia, piscina tot a fost super ok!!

Superbe logement à proximité de La Canée, très fonctionnel, et parfaitement adapté à une famille avec des enfants. Nous nous sentions comme chez nous. Un grand merci à Michaela et ses parents qui sont des hôtes exceptionnels. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Εξαιρετική διαμονή,όλοι οι χώροι πεντακάθαροι και προσεγμένοι. Στο ψυγείο υπήρχαν προϊόντα πρωινού και φρούτα. Καταπληκτική θέα , ήσυχη τοποθεσία. Ο κύριος Νίκος φιλόξενος και πρόθυμος να μας συστήσει μέρη να επισκεφτούμε. Εννοείται πως αν βρεθούμε πάλι στην Κρήτη θα επιλέξουμε το michaelas house.Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα !!!

La posizione della casa è fantastica, a pochi minuti da Chania e in un luogo strategico per arrivare alle spiagge più belle. La piscina è valore aggiunto, come la vista e lo stupendo patio. Michaela è stata gentilissima, ci ha aspettato fino all'1 di notte all'arrivo e ci ha fatto trovare il frigo mezzo pieno e una pizza dalla pizzeria di suo padre. Miglior host di sempre!

La villa était très bien. L’emplacement, l’équipement et une vue exceptionnelle au coucher du soleil !

Michaela's house had everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It is very spacious and has an enclosed garden, which is a big plus if you travel with dogs. The location is tactical to reach easily all the "must see" around Chania. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the additional detached double bedroom. The host was lovely, caring and very approachable.

The house is so authentic and nice. We really liked the simplicity of the property.

The parking spot is very tight but possible to manage. On Sunday morning, the church is loud, very, very loud...
