We asked if we could check in early- while this wasn’t possible the owner contacted us by email and WhatsApp when he didn’t get a response to explain why it wasn’t possible. He sent us some suggestions for us to have lunch while we were waiting. When we arrived after a strenuous 2.8 km walk from the bus stop he gave us some bottles of water.

The warm welcome, flexibility, kindness of the owners, location and room. The property has also a common area where you can do smart working.

The fact that we stayed only one night

Camere D"Artista is outstanding - each room is inspired by a particular artist and the paintings and furnishings are exquisite. It is light, airy and spotlessly clean. The parents of the owner are fantastic hosts and go out of their way to make the guests' stay as comfortable as possible - they slso suggest interesting places to visit and excellent restaurants nearby. The location near the centre of town is perfect for walking easily to the historic castle. The Villa di Romana is within an hour's drive through beautiful countryside - it is the most famous example of Roman mosaics in the world and cannot be missed. Very nice host. Warm welcome. Airconditioning. Parking officially not free but they don't check. Our host offered us free breakfast. Very well equipped kitchen with free snacks, coffee, thee, water. Comfortabel bed.

The apartment is located in a beautiful building with a historic background, in the center of the city. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and full of character, which definitely contributed to the pleasant atmosphere of the stay. We were particularly impressed with how friendly and hospitable the hosts were. Giuseppe established contact and provided us with information before our arrival via WhatsApp, while Emilia warmly welcomed us and kindly provided us with the information we needed. When we left, our daughter forgot her watch in the room and before she even noticed it was missing, Emilia had already found it and informed us. Since we didn't have enough time to return for it, she kindly sent it to us by post, for which we are infinitely grateful. The entire stay at the Camera d'Artista  was truly enjoyable and comfortable. If you are looking for a space where you can enjoy comfort while exploring the historic city center, then this apartment is definitely the right choice. We highly recommend it!
