Modern Comfort in Nottingham City Centre

Centrally located - easy to explore the city from there.

We went as a group of four women, intending to use the two sofa beds but there were no duvets and one sofa bed was broken. The rental company told me they would reimburse me if I bought two duvets do I did and have still not been reimbursed. The bathroom door was warped and did not shut, let alone lock. There was no kettle. No smoke alarm. The rental company promised to provide a kettle but this did not happen in the days we were there.The ceiling lights did not work in one bedroom and flickered in and off in the bathroom. There was dirt and rubbish under the bed in one room. The flat was hard to get in and out of - no precise instructions were given for opening the front door. The entrance hall and stairs were filthy and littered with post and other rubbish. We left the place clean and tidy and left on time but then the cleaners reported that we had left at 11.30 instead of ten. This would normally incur a penalty. In fact we were all on trains heading elsewhere by 11.11.

The location was perfect. The size and floor layout of the flat was excellent

Where do I start??? 1. The toilet was leaking so bad it caused the bathroom door to swell as a result we could not open or close without much effort which I recorded on video and sent to TMP stays. So we basically did not use that bathroom. 2. There was no handle on the bathroom door (it was sitting in the window sill) so no privacy 3. The unit was NOT CLEANED THOROUGHLY there was soda or juice on the hallway floor, sticky floors throughout and cabinets, hair on coffee table, hair in shower. 4. The duvets were dirty/stained had to use the spares 5. Ceiling lights in 2nd bedroom not working 6. No wifi 7. Large step ladder in hallway/ safety hazzard 8. Boot marks on hallway wall and ceiling 9. No toiletries shower soaps etc. no bathmats to step on so we purchased our own from Poundland. 10. No iron 11. The shower in ensuite bathroom was very slow to drain and flooded every day after as little as 3 minutes in the shower 13. Existing furniture damage from having large desks and sofas right up against the heaters. We made sure we pulled them away from the heaters when we turned the heat on. Previous guests must not have done the same. 14. No smoke alarm in kitchen. It was disassembled 15. The entryway to the flat was extremely filthy. 16. The mop in the utility cupboard was very dirty and dry and there was no bucket which indicated to me it had not been used in a long time. We ended up buying our own left it there. 17. No welcome booklet/email with instructions on how things are used, e.g how to get wifi, where to take trash etc. On our first night here we literally had to mop and clean everything to feel somewhat comfortable. UMAIR did not follow up to resolve any of the matters, he promised to send a plumber the next day which he never did so we ended up leaving early. Since then I have reached out many times requesting a refund and he said he would discuss with his team and it is now 2 months later and he has not replied.

The only good thing about the place is the location. It's right in the middle of city center.

On entering the building, the place looks like an abandoned house. The hallway is so dirty with alot of litters all over the floor including cigarette stubs, Pepsi cups and straws, the floor looks like it has not been swept or cleaned in ages. On checking in, we found out the heater wasn't working and the internet connection wasn't working as well. We texted the owner about our concerns, they claimed to reach out to their team to come fix the issues. We were able to figure out the heater problem but the internet wouldn't connect. We messaged the provider several times and explained how it's important to have internet connection since we had young kids with us and needed to keep them engaged and even my wife couldn't work since we didn't have any internet connection. The provider stopped responding to us after the first night, didn't send anyone to check/fix the internet, we couldn't even get to watch the TV, until we checked out. I felt very dissatisfied and scammed. My daughter even got sick because of the dirty environment. The place was just a total disappointment.

The location is very central, right in the heart of the city center and surrounded by many restaurants. The flat was warm and quiet, with high-quality windows that offer excellent insulation against both cold and noise.

Firstly, there was no Wi-Fi, and the TV was not functioning as it required an internet connection. I contacted the provided number, and the person who replied informed me that they would reach out to the property manager and get back to me. However, I never received any follow-up. We were also informed that the property would have a hairdryer, but there was none. Additionally, the property was very dusty, and we had to vacuum thoroughly, especially underneath the beds. In one of the bedrooms, the lights were not working. Finally, the smoke alarm started beeping every 30 seconds. We contacted the same number again, and they told us they would reach out to the property manager, who was apparently on vacation. Several hours later, they forwarded us a message from the property manager, which read: "Tell them to press the button, and it’ll turn off; otherwise, take the battery out." Nobody came to check the alarm.

The apartment is beautiful, comfortable, great location and safe. I will definitely come back again
