Beautiful Seafront 1 bedroomed apartment

The location is amazing

A saucepan in the kitchen would have been appreciated but we made do.

Ideal seafront location. Spacious living room with kitchen. The bedroom at the back gave us a quiet night's sleep.

Uncertainty about the car park space, thankfully I managed to park outside the apartment but it would have been a problem if staying longer than one night I felt.

Er was geen ontbijt maar wel een bakker om de hoek. We hebben genoten van het apartement vooral de onder gaande zon had wel wat lnger willen blijven

Location was ideal, walking distance from overnight parking and all the amenities. The view from the window was lovely. Comfy bed and powerful shower. Spacious size flat for two people and good value for three nights stay.

Entrance to the building was very sketchy and you can hear loads of noise from other people living in the building - not really an issue for us as we were out and about all day, but in bed at night a lot of stomping about upstairs. Few areas of the apartment need a bit of TLC - the shower curtain rail fell down when I draped a towel over it.

EDIT: Once the review below had been left, I started getting harassed with insulting messages from the flat owner on my personal mobile. I have reported him and the messages accordingly. I won't amend my score or review because it's based on the original experience. ORIGINAL REVIEW Unfortunately, the owner did not bother to tell us that there were major improvement works going on directly outside the property. All we could hear when we were there is concrete being cut and beeping lorries. Both sets of main front doors to the property are in a dire state and desperately need repairing. We had trouble shutting and opening them. The property itself was quiet, and the flat smelled nice. However; it was not clean. There were brown marks on the toilet pan, dirty extractor fan in bathroom, filthy oven (we didn't use the kitchen at all), crumbs under the sofa cushions, and filthy windows. No dusting or polishing had taken place in a while. The chairs by the glass table at the window were dangerous so we avoided using them. The front windows desperately need replacing. We arrived on a stormy day, and the wind was rushing through the huge gaps in the frame - somehow even rain was getting in. This made the whole flat cold and noisy. The heating was a pain to use. I had look at manual to understand how to work the two in the living room. One only seemed to work when it wanted to, and the other made a squeaking noise which kept us awake. It took 2 days for the property to warm up by which time we were glad to leave. I won't share the photos we took in the hope this review is enough to get things changed.
