GP Hostel Penang

The room was basic, but good and above all clean with airco and fan. Location is in a residential area so it was quiet at night but still walking distance to central town area.

Unequipped kitchen. It would have been nice to have access to a plate, a knife and a glass to eat some fruits or have a drink.

Good environment..

Dont have space a parking lot....

I had a table and air conditioning

The bathroom was shared

Toilet upstairs no water for shower

1) Outside hostel/carporch area dirty (bad), 2) Hostel Lobby is not cleaned & mopped properly (bad), 3) Hostel rooms are not cleaned & mopped properly (bad), 4) Foreign guests not removing shoes/sandals/slippers when entering the hostel (bad), 5) Slightly torn blanket & pillow sheet (somewhat bad), 6) No clothes' hangers inside the clothes' cupboard (very bad), 7) No mirror inside the room (bad), 8) Twice the hostel unit blackout: 31 Oct. morning & 1 Nov. morning - electricity trip (???) (bad), 9) Late arrival of electrical contractors (bad), 10) Kitchen stove (bad), 11) Kitchen cabinets (bad), 12) No mirror inside the toilet & bathroom (somewhat bad), 13) Not enough toiletries' equipment for washing dirty clothes (bad), 14) Clothes' drying area not so clean (bad), 15) No clothes pegs at the clothes' drying area (very bad).
