Nothing

Everything. Room dirty and dusty. No lock on door. Owners belongings in wardrobe and suitcases on top of wardrobe. No where to put my clothes. No bin. Junk under bed. Broken light fitting. Shower screen dirty. No means to open large blind in room. No check in desk or temporary art display. Wrong address displayed on booking.com and looks like this has been the case for several months due to the other review! Other doors to the property constantly left unlocked including the door to the street. Photos on the website are not of the room.

I liked the location, it was close to the station, a car park, and many restaurants/bars as well as the beach.

I did not like the lack of wifi as it was unable to connect to our phones, and there was no lock on the door.

Central location, quiet street, room is a large size, Host is pleasant

Address is different than booked Super late check in (don’t overlook that like I did) Room was dusty, window did not open, the window blind didn’t shut. Bathroom was not clean.

Central location, comfy bed and a nice en-suite. Host was very friendly too and super helpful

The location was good for where I needed to be, and the person who lived in the property lent me a charger plug. The mattress was comfortable and that was about it.

- The carpet in the bedroom was filthy. Seriously, when was the last time this room was vacuumed? HOW COULD THIS ROOM BE RENTED OUT WITHOUT BEING VACUUMED!? Amongst the detritus on the bedroom carpet were large crisp crumbs, and a dried up contact lens on the bathroom floor. So gross. - Under the bed was a bunch of junk including a takeout box, slipper/sock and what seemed to be USED Q-TIPS. Grim babes. - The provided towel was the thinnest, smallest, student-iest towel I have seen in a long time. My mum keeps these kind of towels to dry the dog after a bath. I thought this towel was maybe a mistake, maybe it was to be used as a something to stand on after a shower, so I looked in the under-sink/vanity cupboard which was a mistake because a bunch of rubbish fell out. Like, an empty orange juice bottle, orange peel, and many toilet roll inners. There was no bin in the room or the ensuite, so maybe the owner of the room uses the vanity cupboard as a bin. I can't believe I have to write this, but VANITY CUPBOARDS AREN'T BINS. - So, no bin (I took my used makeup cleaning pads with when I left like I had been camping), no bedside lamp, the overhead lighting gubbins had one working bulb in it. - The large window was 9/10th covered by a large black out blind which seemed to be broken, so there was no way to raise or lower it. - There was no lighting in the long dark hallway from the front door to the bedroom, I had to use my phone's light to navigate. When I saw the hallway in the morning, it was grimy. - The level of studenty grimness gave me very low hopes about the cleanliness of the sheets and pillowcase, the duvet cover was stained, and the woolly covering blanket had food stains on it it too. I slept with my coat on as I was a bit grossed out and also the duvet was quite thin so it wasn't warm enough anyway. - The check in and check out was quite awkward, 6-7pm check in and 9am check out. - THE PHOTO USED IS NOT THE ACTUAL ROOM OR BED!!!
