Chang Pai Garden

Sehr ruhig etwas ausserhalb aber nicht zu weit weg von der Stadt mit dem Moped sind es vielleicht 3min zum Zentrum. Freundliches Personal und saubere Zimmer.

Tolle Lage inmitten schöner Vegetation, ein kleiner Bach fließt an der Terrasse vorbei. Betten bequem und alles frisch und sauber.

Bungalow hat viele Spalten, man konnte durch den Fußboden auf den Waldboden schauen, wo evtl. Insekten und Tierchen einfach in den Raum kommen. Ich hatte aber keine Probleme.

The peace and quiet of the resort was wonderful. The hut I stayed in was reasonably private with a small balcony with table and chairs outside as well as an en-suite shower room, fridge and kettle inside the hut.

It was quite out of the way and my hut did not have some of the things in it that were pictured on booking.com i.e a hammock outside on the balcony or the mosquito net over the bed in the room.

Very beautiful place about 15 minutes walk away from the centre

Facilities weren't great it felt like the bathrooms weren't private enough

Staff are lovely and will try their best to help. Shuttle service into the town for 50baht, or a 20-25 min walk. There is a nice cafe at the top of the hill that serves lovely food with a gorgeous view of the mountains particularly nice at sunset, the staff there are so helpful and accommodating :)

Listen, I get it’s a relatively affordable hotel but for an extra bit a night you could get a much nicer hotel closer to Pai. I hate to nag but honestly I would’ve enjoyed Pai a lot more in a different hotel. First off the cabin locks by a padlock when you are out and when in is just a simple window lock style so you never feel very secure. As you walk in you realise there is holes leading outside EVERYWHERE and we needed to spray all these holes with bug spray as there was ants all over the floor, a mosquito net is provided (ours had loads of holes in it so pretty much useless), the bed was definitely a spring mattress but comfortable enough to sleep on if you forget the fact you are surrounded by ants! Although we noticed the sheets still felt damp as if someone rushed to get the room ready! The fridge operates but is completely coated in rust on the inside and reeks. Finally in the main bedroom all the curtains are pretty dodgy and the rods fall out so need to be really careful with them. The bathroom was well, erm, in the building? Again massive holes leading to the outside as a way of drainage, a massive deliberate hole is placed with mesh over to clear out the room but means a morning shower in the winter season isn’t pleasant, which brings me to the next point, if you are expecting a warm shower… don’t! Again it seems like I’m whining on but the last thing that really through me off was when we lifted the toilet seat and hundreds and I mean HUNDREDS of ants were crawling all over the bowl, then when you brave the toilet and go to wash your hands the towels are torn to shreds and old, we left quick but there is a massive sign saying the costs to replace things and if we hung around I fear we could’ve been charged so maybe take some pictures when you first arrive. I’ll just finish saying I’m a budget traveller I’ve seen some dodgy accommodations but between me and my mate it worked out at £8.
