Dream Weavers Farm Cabin

Her var dejligt roligt og et meget smukt sted. Skønt med dyr og spabad. Vi lavede også bål en aften.

Breakfast was delicious - perfectly scrambled eggs, amazing spreads. We appreciated being shown around the farm and meeting the animals! Owners were lovely and hospitable. They gave us good recommendations for a walk and where to eat. Cute decor.

It was disappointing that the spa wasn't working as that was one of the main reasons why we chose this accommodation. It was unfortunately damaged in a recent power surge in the area. There were lots of little flies in the bedroom which was unpleasant but I guess can be expected for a farm location. There were stains and hairs on the bedding. The layout wasn't ideal with the bathroom being separate to the cabin, and the main bedroom being separate from the dining/other bedroom so you have to go outside to go between them.

The hosts are fantastic, the location superb and the facilities great. We were greeted by the very kind hosts who made sure we were comfortable. The two room cabin was spacious and had everything we needed. There is even a hot tub (that we didn't use). Make sure you bring your groceries, because the nearest supermarket is at a 15 minute drive away. The amazing scenery and quiet environment easily makes up for that. Conveniently located as a base for excursions in the Bay of Islands and its many coastal walks.

The description doesn’t match the reality. It should clearly state that the bathroom is out across the deck approximately 20M, the bedroom has no internal door to the kitchen space. If it’s raining you’re having to go outside to get between spaces. There’s no hot running water in the outside ‘kitchen sink’ and the spa sits right outside what you could reasonably consider someone’s bedroom windows. There is no couch or tv. It says it’s accessible but between the bathroom and bedroom is a step so not accessible for people in wheelchairs. Parking beside the cabin must only be available in summer as it was not to me due to rain.
