The Old Bakery Angmering

The house was perfectly clean and comfy. The beds were really comfortable, kitchen and equipment suffered no flaws. Nice situation, a few km from the shore and perfectly situated if you plan to attend any Goodwood events. Lovely and very attentive owner though we did not have the chance to meet in person. Hopefully next time. Absolutely recommendable.

Great character and charm

Really lovely house in a good location, with everything we needed for our stay. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one of which is an ensuite). Both bathrooms are well decorated, the beds are very comfortable and the bedding is of very good quality. There is lots of space to store clothes plus a nice big TV in the main bedroom. Downstairs there is a modern, well equipped kitchen with a table and chairs. All were of good quality as was the crockery, glasses and cooking equipment etc. The hosts had left cleaning materials and also some tasty treats which were much appreciated. The sitting room is spacious, has a large TV, comfy sofa and 2 easy chairs. There is also a downstairs loo. Outside there is a small seating area and also space for one car. The whole house has been well thought out, is tastefully decorated to a high standard and we would definitely stay again. Angmering is a lovely village with a couple of good pubs, a good fish and chips takeaway and a fabulous Indian takeaway. There is also a handy co op.

Very spacious . Went with a friend so pleased to have our own rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen lounge areas super. We also enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evening with a glass of wine

House was beautiful- clean and fresh A little treat was left for our arrival The host helped us sort a problem ( not with the house) in such a friendly manner. It really helped us.

The cottage was cold on arrival, we notched up temp for a bit, the key box very tight snd tricky to use, better if you’re over 5’10”. Was all clean and tidy, few supplies, milk, croissants. One tiny t-towel that’s all, Pillows prob need replacing . Shower room basin a joke! We did report wobbly legs on two lounge chairs, which were repaired, just loose screws!!! Kitchen table same. Nice selection of books, records, large tv, Few other things like kitchen roll would hdve been handy,

It would have been nice to have curtains in the Living Room as it felt it lacked privacy when sitting on the sofa during the evening given it is partially overlooked by next door.
